The Falling Fog by nina-Y The Falling Fog by nina-Y
The falling fog and the street lamp.

(For best results, view in a darkened room. Preferably, while drinking coffee or hot chocolate...)

Gorgeous view and atmosphere Nina!!  This would look great, not only in a dark room, yet on a black desktop background..  You should set this as your desktop  :aww:    It's a really gorgeous view.   It has a really nice and calming effect on me as a viewer..

I also have a photo that I had just taken the other day..  that your photo reminds me of..  not of a street view however.  It is of a street lamp, yet looking up, towards the sky, on a street that surrounds the High School I attended.  I live in the historical district and the lamps are original.. from way back.. I used to really love viewing the lamps that surround the school.  Because there were also many trees that line that street at the edge of the sidewalk.   I want to get a shot of this, with perspective..  with both the street lamps and trees lined at the edge of the sidewalk..  yet I need to go there when it's near dark and when there are no cars are around.

I love your photography, equally as much, as your Manips and Digital paintings Nina..  Your photography is equally inspiring.   You also come up with much better names than I do..  ;d   LoL..   You've always had such great concept.  :aww: I am just starting out with my photography,  and..  not using a professional camera.. not yet anyway.. hopefully very soon though, I will have a really nice DSLR..  and some lenses to match.

I have a conventional camera as well, that I found in my deceased fathers belongings.  It is an old Pentax film camera.. it has so many lenses and filters..  I took it out to the cemetery and took some shots of swans on the lake and the atmosphere..  I had the film developed.. yet..  some turned out great, and others did not.

I am seriously am considering, to take up some photography classes..  Is there anything, specific classes that you might recommend taking as a beginner?
