Little Red Riding Hood - A Winter Fairytale

My newest Twisted Fairytale!

The whole piece needed to retain a big amount of realism, but some things also needed to be exaggerated. For example, I wanted a big, monster wolf...who resides in a forest far away, where very few people wander into intentionally, except for the strange, feral ones who live there. It's a place where snow falls almost every day and sun offers just enough light so that all living beings, would not wander off too far...
Sometimes it happens that the sun is so low in the sky and the beings can't help but wander off...bumping into each other in the dark...

Some other info: I've planned this exact picture for about 3 months, this house and everything else you see here. Though I have done something similar years ago, this piece is very different - just altogether a completely different level of work method, aggravation and sheer joy now that I have finished it! I've mainly worked on it at night, and 2 am. coffees almost feel like a normal habit by now.
Needless to say, I am so glad it is finished!
